Kareem Helmee

Trainer & Speaker

Kareem was graduated from Digital Media Engineering & Technology, from the German University in Cairo. He then started working in Zanad, a graphics studio based in Cairo, working closely with advertising agencies, corporates marketing representatives, creative directors and technical artists, building a 7 years experience in that field. Kareem shifted his career and is now working as a part time Trainer with Aspire, a reputable company in the field of training and development based in Cairo, Egypt.

He is working on a program delivered to university students to let them discover their character, understand their talents, and know how to practice, improve their employability skills. As well as working with corporates on trainings and team building activities. He is also working as a Facilitator with British Council Egypt on a program delivered in the MENA region. Kareem delivered/facilitated workshops for more than 1200 participants, between high school students, university students, teachers and researchers. In parallel, Mr. Helmee is working as a professional MC/Host for several events and conferences, with British Council, British Embassy in Cairo, Pearson Egypt, Cambridge Egypt, Shell Egypt, FameLab Egypt, TEDxGUC for more than 4 times and others. With also two events outside Egypt, in Cyprus as host for hall of FameLab Cyprus 2017, and in Qatar hosting the Final FameLab competition in 2016.

Over the last years, Kareem hosted – was the MC – for events attended by more than 9000 participants in total, with different scopes, locations, languages and age groups. He lately participated as a judge in Hall of FameLab London 2018 at the National History Museum. On another front, Kareem is working as a voice over artist since 5 years, where he records his voice in different commercials and advertisements.

Mr. Helmee worked before – in parallel to Zanad – as a freelancer trainer, conducting workshops related to public speaking skills, being on stage, and content creation tools for different groups, mainly focusing on student activities in universities such as the GUC. He had also the chance to be co-training with experts from the UK, mainly as part of FameLab, then conducted four training of trainers sessions, most of them for FameLab Qatar. Moreover, Kareem conducted workshops as part of the Trainers Team – led by Mr. Quentin Cooper – for the K.I.S.S., a science communication conference in Cyprus in 2017. He was involved in different competitions, FameLab as an example for science communication competitions. He also started a blog in 2010, and performed some of his writings on stage in 2011.
