Constantinos Timinis

Presenter, Speaker & Trainer

Constantinos has a BSc in Computer Engineering, a minor degree in Biomedical Engineering, a MSc in Molecular and Applied Physiology and he is currently a PhD Researcher in UCL with a full scholarship.

In 2016, he was the national winner of FameLab Cyprus and the “Audience Vote Winner” of the FameLab International in Cheltenham! He then taken up various opportunities to engage with science communication (Social Media Coordinator @ Mind the Lab, Social Media Coordinator & Web Editor @ Athens Science Festival, Web Manager @ Mediterrenean Science Festival, Mentor @ School-lab Cyprus & France) and he served as the Outreach Activities Coordinator of the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence.

In 2017, he received funding by the Youth Board of Cyprus and the Ministry of Education and Culture for the “How to K.I.S.S. better in Science!” conference. This year is transforming the first edition to a festival!

He strongly believes that science should not follow any norms and most importantly has nothing to do with the “who” explains, but rather with the “how” is being understood!
